Comparison

Rankli vs Jasper

Jasper is an enterprise marketing AI platform sold per seat, with brand governance, agents and a security posture aimed at companies that have a procurement process. It is not an SEO publishing pipeline and does not price itself in articles, so this table is short. If you are a marketing team rather than a founder with a blog, most of what you want from Jasper we do not do at all.

We are new. Rankli is new. We have no public customer results, no case studies and no star ratings, and we are not going to borrow anyone else’s. Everything claimed about Rankli below is a rule or a limit in the running product; everything claimed about the other product was read off their own live page on the date stamped above.

Side by side

4 rows we could check on Jasper’s own pages.

A row appears here only when both sides of it are stated somewhere a reader can go and read. Where Jasper’s pages say nothing, the row is missing rather than filled in with a guess.

Rankli compared with Jasper, one row per fact stated on both sides.

Cheapest way in$1 once for the Trial — 3 finished articles, nothing renews. The cheapest subscription is Starter at $89/month.Pro at $69/month per seat billed monthly, or $59/month per seat billed yearly, which their page describes as saving around 20%.
Free tier or trialNo free tier. The $1 Trial is a one-time charge that buys 3 articles on your own site plus one measurement round; trial drafts carry a one-line watermark.A free 7-day trial, offered on the Pro plan.
Sites per subscription1 on Starter, 2 on Growth, 4 on Scale, 5 on Agency — each with its own profile, voice, keywords, calendar and CMS connection.Priced per seat rather than per site: Pro includes 1 seat, 2 Brand Voices, 5 Knowledge assets and 3 Audiences. Business is custom-priced with unlimited Brand Voices, Knowledge and Audiences.
Add-ons on top of the plan priceNone. One price per plan, no annual plan, no volume discount and no crossed-out anchor price. A promotion code at checkout is the only discount that exists. Two tiers rather than add-ons: Pro at $69/seat monthly and Business at custom pricing, which their page says adds custom agents, Jasper Grid, API access, admin controls and dedicated account management.

What we left out, and why

  • Articles a month, publishing to a CMS, article length, internal linking, images, keyword data, backlinks and a pre-publish gate. Jasper does not price or describe itself in those terms on the page we read, so those rows have no verified counterpart.
  • AI-answer visibility as a tracked number. Their site describes GEO and AI optimisation capability, but we found no per-plan tracking figure to compare against ours.
  • Languages.

None of these is a claim that Jasper lacks the feature. It is a claim that we could not read it on their site, which is a different and much smaller statement.

Where they are stronger

When Jasper is the better choice.

  • If you need enterprise procurement to sign off, they clear it and we do not: their page states SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, CCPA, PCI and DPA compliance, annual third-party penetration testing, and that they do not train models on your data. We have none of those attestations.
  • Brand governance at a scale we do not attempt — brand voices, style guides, visual guidelines, knowledge assets and audiences, with admin controls and groups on the Business plan.
  • It covers the whole of marketing, not just SEO articles: campaigns, personalisation, translation, images and custom agents.
  • An established company with named enterprise customers and a support organisation. We are new and have no customers yet.
  • Per-seat pricing is the right shape for a team of marketers. Ours is per site, which is the wrong shape for that buyer.
Where we are

When Rankli is.

  • We publish. Rankli plans a month of articles, writes them and pushes them to WordPress, Webflow, Shopify or a webhook without anyone opening an editor.
  • The output is checked against enforced rules before it can go live, and a hard failure — a fabricated statistic among them — holds the draft.
  • Results come from your own Search Console, and AI-citation measurement runs on every plan with controlled experiments above Starter.

Each of these is a rule in the running product — the publish gate, the fabricated-statistic detector and the propose-and-accept editor are code, not positioning, and the pricing page states the limits they enforce.

Straight answers

The questions this page is meant to answer.

Should I be comparing these two at all?

Often not. Jasper is bought by marketing teams who need governed content across campaigns; Rankli is bought by someone who wants SEO articles written and published without them. If you have a content team, they are probably the right tool and we are not.

How many articles does Jasper include?

Their pricing page does not say, because that is not how it is sold — it is per seat, with credits and agents rather than an article allowance. That is why the articles row is missing from the table above.

Read three of them before you decide.

$1 once buys 3 finished articles on your own site, in your own voice, plus one measurement round. Nothing renews, and if the writing is not right you will know within a week.
