Comparisons

Twelve pages, and nothing we could not check.

Every figure about another product on this site was read off that company’s own live page on a stated date. Where their page says nothing, the row is missing rather than filled in — which is why some of these tables are ten rows and some are four. Every page also names, at full length, the cases where the other product is the better buy.

Head to head

Rankli against the nine products people ask about.

  • Rankli vs Outrank

    11 checked rows · verified September 2026

Buy them instead if: They have shipped more integrations than we have. Their pricing page lists Wix, Framer, Notion and Ghost alongside WordPress, Webflow, Shopify and a webhook; we have four connections, and if yours is Ghost or Notion, that decides it.

  • Rankli vs RankYak

    11 checked rows · verified September 2026

Buy them instead if: 30 articles a month for $99 against our 30 for $349. Per published article they are several times cheaper, and that is the single biggest fact on this page.

  • Rankli vs SEObot

    6 checked rows · verified September 2026

Buy them instead if: It is cheaper to start than anything we sell on a monthly basis: $49/month against our $89. If budget is the binding constraint, that is the answer and no amount of measurement talk changes it.

  • Rankli vs Koala AI

    8 checked rows · verified September 2026

Buy them instead if: A real free tier: 5,000 words and 25 credits, no credit card, stated in their own FAQ. We have no free tier at all — our cheapest way in is a $1 charge.

  • Rankli vs Byword

    4 checked rows · verified September 2026

Buy them instead if: Volume. 300 articles a month on their Scale plan against 90 on our largest; if the job is publishing at that rate, we cannot do it at any price.

  • Rankli vs Arvow

    9 checked rows · verified September 2026

Buy them instead if: Five websites for $149 list. Our two-site plan is $349 and our four-site plan is $899. If you run several sites, Arvow is dramatically better value and it is not close.

  • Rankli vs Surfer

    5 checked rows · verified September 2026

Buy them instead if: They are an established brand with a long track record, published case studies and ISO 27001 certification. We are new, have no customers yet, and have none of that.

  • Rankli vs Writesonic

    6 checked rows · verified September 2026

Buy them instead if: More tracked prompts per dollar than we offer: 50 prompts refreshed daily on a $79 plan, against 80 tracked questions on our $89 Starter. If breadth of AI monitoring is the purchase, they are ahead.

  • Rankli vs Jasper

    4 checked rows · verified September 2026

Buy them instead if: If you need enterprise procurement to sign off, they clear it and we do not: their page states SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, CCPA, PCI and DPA compliance, annual third-party penetration testing, and that they do not train models on your data. We have none of those attestations.

Roundups

Alternatives lists, including the ones we lose.

If you are shopping for an alternative you want options, not a sales page with a list in it. These three name the real candidates in the order the facts put them, and Rankli is not first on any of them.

The method

How a row gets onto one of these pages.

  • Someone opens the vendor’s page and reads it. Not a review site, not a summary, not a competitor’s comparison of them. The URLs are printed on each page and the date is stamped at the top.
  • An unverifiable fact is an absent row. If their page does not state it, the row does not exist. That is why the SEObot table is short: their public site names one price and no tier detail, so that is what we published.
  • A missing row is never a claim of absence. “Their page does not state it” is checkable. “They do not do it” is not, and appears nowhere on these pages.
  • Our column comes from the code. Prices and article counts are read from the same file the server bills from; word counts, link counts and the publish gate from the validator that enforces them.
  • Every page says where they beat us. If we cannot write that section for a product, we have not researched it enough to publish a page about it.
  • No backlink-risk argument. Rankli ships an opt-in backlink exchange too, so claiming the high ground there would be false and we do not.

Or skip the reading and look at three articles.

$1 once buys 3 finished articles on your own site, in your own voice, plus one measurement round. Nothing renews.
