Rankli vs Writesonic
Writesonic has repositioned around AI-search visibility: its plans bundle brand tracking across ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews with a smaller number of AI articles and site audits. It is the closest thing on this list to what we do on the measurement side, and it tracks more prompts per dollar than we do. It is also priced with the annual toggle on, which is worth noticing before comparing to our monthly figures.
We are new. Rankli is new. We have no public customer results, no case studies and no star ratings, and we are not going to borrow anyone else’s. Everything claimed about Rankli below is a rule or a limit in the running product; everything claimed about the other product was read off their own live page on the date stamped above.

What we left out, and why
- Publishing to a CMS, article length, internal linking, images, keyword volume and difficulty, backlinks, a pre-publish gate and languages. None are stated on the pricing page we read.
- Monthly rather than annual prices. The plan cards we read were all marked "per month, billed annually", so that is how they are quoted.
- Where their reported results come from.
None of these is a claim that Writesonic lacks the feature. It is a claim that we could not read it on their site, which is a different and much smaller statement.
When Writesonic is the better choice.
- More tracked prompts per dollar than we offer: 50 prompts refreshed daily on a $79 plan, against 80 tracked questions on our $89 Starter. If breadth of AI monitoring is the purchase, they are ahead.
- Site audits are bundled — 10 audits of 100 pages each on Starter, up to 50 audits of 2,500 pages on Growth. We do not audit your existing site at all.
- Enterprise compliance we cannot match: their page lists SSO/SAML, SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA and GDPR.
- Coverage across more AI platforms than our four engines, with ads monitoring and sentiment analysis.
- An established company with published customer outcomes. We are new and have no customer results to publish.
When Rankli is.
- Articles are written and published to your CMS, not handed back to you as documents.
- Above Starter, measurement is a pre-registered experiment against a held-out control, which answers whether the content caused the change rather than only reporting the change.
- Every draft passes a hard check that can hold it, including the fabricated-statistic rule, and edits are proposed as diffs you accept or reject.
Each of these is a rule in the running product — the publish gate, the fabricated-statistic detector and the propose-and-accept editor are code, not positioning, and the pricing page states the limits they enforce.

You both track AI citations. Whose is better?
Theirs is broader and ours is more careful about attribution. They track more prompts across more platforms for less money. From our Growth plan up, ours is run as a pre-registered experiment against a held-out control, which is a different question — whether the change was caused, not whether it happened.
Are their prices monthly?
The ones quoted here are marked "per month, billed annually" on their page, with a 20% annual saving advertised. Our figures are monthly with no annual option, so compare with that in mind.
